I am one of the highest ranking guards in the Volturi Coven, and I’m especially close to my twin sister Jane. Jane and I both have lethal powers; Jane can manipulate anyone into thinking they are in pain with her mind. My power is an anesthetic, one that comes in the form of a clear hazy mist. It cuts off every one of my victim’s senses, making you feel numb, with no feeling, hearing, sight, or taste.
I take my appointed place in the Volturi as not only a job, but a supreme honor, in which only the best of the best are invited. I serve my masters with the utmost loyalty and the only person more important to me than the masters is my sister, Jane, whom I will protect at all cost. I did not choose to live this life, I did not choose to be a vampire, or join a coven; but rather my path was chosen for me. Chosen for my by my master, Aro, whom I hold more respect and loyalty than most others. Aro is my savior, my mentor, my master whom I will serve until burned; again. The pain of the change was excruciating I wished for death to come faster. I then felt something ice cold touch me, and the pain intensified immensely. Was this hell? Was the priest right? Thoughts of this filled my head for three days, my skin curling, my body aching, everything in pain; then it died, quickly, as if it was never there. I opened my eyes to be my sister hovering over me. She had changed; she was beautiful, with bright red eyes and porcelain skin. I slowly gathered myself and sat up to see another man standing there. Jane introduced him to me as Aro, our savior, our new master. He told me of how the Volturi had their eyes on us when they were human as potential people to change, but were waiting until we were older to change us. But when we were to be burned, he was forced to change us while they were still young. He told us what we were, and explained to us about the Volturi and the new world that we were now to be apart of. My twin Jane and I have since become two of the Volturi's most valued guards... Centuries have passed and I have come to find my place in this life, that is beside Chelsea. No one said it would last but we have made it down a long hard road and there is no stopping us now. Together we will leave the past in the past and live our days out as there is no other thing to do. |
